The new Denham Springs Walmart Neighborhood Market (store #7241) had its grand opening today, according to their FB page, with a ribbon-cutting by the Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce at 7:30 am. It’s located at 25820 Hwy 16 (near Vincent Road @ Pete’s Highway), and will be about 1/4 the size of a regular market, mostly focusing on grocery items but including a pharmacy. The Advocate reported on the land purchase last June. It will be open 24/7.
