Academy has unveiled the details of their Juban Crossing grand opening promotions, three days of giveaways starting on November 21st!
First of all, DAILY, Fri thru Sun:
– Free photo booth 10-4
– Hourly gift card giveaways (starting 10am Fri/Sat, noon Sun)
– Register to win a $500 gift card
– Register to win a pair of tix to LSU vs Texas A&M (starts at 9 Fri?, 10 Sat, noon Sun)
On Friday (11/21), free gift cards worth $20 or more will be given out to the first 150 visitors to the store (age 18 and up), IF you can show that you like them on one of various social media sites — here are the sites and the links to go ahead and like them now – update, 7:00am 11/21: my tipsters tell me there are already well over 150 people in line!

On Sunday (11/23), the first 100 customers will receive a free Tervis Tumbler (these are AWESOME, I have four and love them — they keep cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot, great for our wonderfully fickle Louisiana weather!) plus a free Mystery Gift Card! The tumbler alone would be a great freebie; will post details on the “mystery” gift cards (their values and odds of winning) asap. The first 1,000 customers in line receive a free Academy tee! All day long, buy a pair of New Balance shoes, get a free Academy gift card!
